Juan has a long professional career in the world of fund management and distribution. Before joining Selinca AV, where he spent almost 12 years, he worked in asset managers or firms such as Investec (as Sales Director for Southern Europe for almost two years, responsible for business development in markets such as Luxembourg, France, Italy, Monaco, Spain, and Portugal), Fortis Investments (as Head of Business Development for Spain and Latin America for five years), Invesco (where he was responsible in the Iberian market for six years), GT Management/LGT Asset Management (where he was responsible for the representative office in Iberia for 4 years), Safei Sociedad de Valores (responsible for International Securities and manager for 3 years), or Bestinver (where he was COO for 3 years).
Juan holds a degree in Economics from Universidad Complutense and speaks English, French, and Spanish.
